Welcome to the new website dedicated to those men seeking more information about priesthood in the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston. It has been said that the life of a priest is an enjoyable encounter with the Lord and God’s people. In West Virginia, that is so very true.
I have found my priesthood personally rewarding because I feel and see God’s grace each day. Since my ordination as a priest, I have met thousands of wonderful and beautiful people, and I enjoy constant contact with many of them.
While you visit this website and consider the many gifts of priesthood, ask yourself if you have a personal desire and calling. It is not difficult to find the will of God when considering a vocation in the Church.
